Am getting back into stride. Still a longway to go but I am sure that I'll get back my old ways!<br /><br />Trackwork.........must carry weights..........and train.....train.......and more training.hazarizqhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06007002897688600616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823706569527440739.post-90317469513566294582009-10-08T19:55:00.001-07:002009-10-08T20:03:13.882-07:00Back to Training after 2 long monthsOn Wednesday, my Dad took me down to Pyramid Megalanes to resume training. OMG, I have grown and the span on all the Balls arenow short. Imagine ......just two month not touching the Balls.<br /><br />Had to send all the Balls for replugging and adjust for new span. WSInce I had paid for 6 games to begin training with, and I had only played 1 game before realizing that I had outgrown the Ball, Mum bought me a Brunswick Seige.<br /><br />However, I bought one with a slightly heavier weight by about 200grms. The feeling was good, but my body is still not fully tuned to bowling just yet. So the day training was all about letting loose and to wake up the muscles.<br /><br />How my fingers ache after 6 games, body feels a bit of the beating too.<br /><br />Yesterday did not train, but did a little trackwork and some pulls on the monkeybar.Must get into shape ASAP. Hopefully I will recover back the muscle memory,in time for Junior All Stars.hazarizqhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06007002897688600616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823706569527440739.post-88855624981200434982009-08-28T14:46:00.000-07:002009-08-28T15:23:18.842-07:00Boling Perpaduan Merdeka 09<div><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SphR7XtRadI/AAAAAAAAAQc/l8iJlNwsyMc/s1600-h/CIMG3117.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 108px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 94px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5375136235684719058" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SphR7XtRadI/AAAAAAAAAQc/l8iJlNwsyMc/s200/CIMG3117.JPG" /></a>On Saturday August 15, my school entered a team for the above tournament,<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SphXyKNAGrI/AAAAAAAAAQs/bYhkR2c97UU/s1600-h/CIMG3198.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 126px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 99px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5375142674510650034" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SphXyKNAGrI/AAAAAAAAAQs/bYhkR2c97UU/s200/CIMG3198.JPG" /></a> organized by Petaling District Bowling Association, SportsUnite and Milo. Another reason was also because of the bowlers from East Malaysia, I do not know their standard. </div><br /><div> </div><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe4gwKDF1I/AAAAAAAAAMk/Kpa4U9jQhKs/s1600-h/5212_259918610264_731580264_8064642_4474821_n%5B1%5D.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 118px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 114px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370463953484978002" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe4gwKDF1I/AAAAAAAAAMk/Kpa4U9jQhKs/s200/5212_259918610264_731580264_8064642_4474821_n%5B1%5D.jpg" /></a><br /><div>My Dad comforted me, and told me not to worry and just play my game. He also told me that whatever the outcome is, he is already very proud of my achievement reaching the GP. That calmed me down a little, and I hope that Dad will also be calm. I don’t want him getting upset and spoil my game also.</div><br /><br /><div><br /><br />Once the practice throws gets on the way, I felt good and the tensed feeling went away. I had a very good start scoring 197 in the first game. I had another 198 in my 4th game and finished in 4th position with a total score of 745 for my first block of 4 games. I was 61 pins behind the leader Christopher Tiong from Sarawak. Qayyum was second and Imran Az-Zahari from Kedah was 3rd.<br /></div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe7gk_bVAI/AAAAAAAAANE/dRT_CGwNv5w/s1600-h/6730_1125326817441_1355278852_30448782_3307724_s%5B1%5D.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 115px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 140px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370467249022522370" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe7gk_bVAI/AAAAAAAAANE/dRT_CGwNv5w/s200/6730_1125326817441_1355278852_30448782_3307724_s%5B1%5D.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe_H5fD2NI/AAAAAAAAANU/yUDlYrNw7Nk/s1600-h/CIMG3101.JPG"></a>After the game, the whole family had to rush to Damansara Heights, to help with the wedding preparation for my cousin, who was getting married to Norman of the KRU fame. We left as early as we could but still, it was around 12 midnight when we reached home. I went to bed immediately, feeling glad that the 2nd block only starts at 1.00PM <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe_IeCHJ0I/AAAAAAAAANc/YTN3aoMAgG4/s1600-h/CIMG3102.JPG"></a>on Saturday.<br /><br /></div><br /><br /><div>Thank goodness that I did not feel so tired when I woke up in the morning. However, I covered it up with a 178 and a 200 game to finish in 3rd placing scoring a total 8 games of 1438 pinfall. Alhamdullillah, I am now in the Finals of my first ever GP. However, I was 208 pins behind Qayyum and 72 pins behind Christopher.<br /><br /></div><br /><br /><div>On the day of the Finals, Dad had to leave home very early, to take my sister Fairuz, who was down with high fever and flu, to SJMC. I went to Pyramid with Mum, My sis Rinie and brother Nine. While Dad was at SJMC, Mum kept him informed of my game.<br /><br />By the time Dad had sent Fairuz home and reached the Alley, I was already ending my fourth game. He came and hugged me and then as usual went for his smoke. I guessed he felt good because I had three good games, scoring 195,162 & 257 for my first 3 games and I was keeping my average on the 4th game. I scored 179 for my 4th game and I am now in second place, 63 pins behind Qayyum. Christopher is now 49 pins behind me.<br /><br />For the last two games, I will be playing alongside Qayyum. My Dad is very happy about this, as I would be able to keep track of him. This is to ensure that I can follow Qayyum’s game which could help me secure the 2nd placing, since 65 pins is to big a gap to beat, unless miracles happened.</div><br /><div><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe7gIWvRSI/AAAAAAAAAM8/pYpOtQMiMRU/s1600-h/CIMG3103.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 154px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 132px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370467241335670050" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soe7gIWvRSI/AAAAAAAAAM8/pYpOtQMiMRU/s200/CIMG3103.JPG" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SofBNxMzaBI/AAAAAAAAANs/DNiLbAIk788/s1600-h/CIMG3104.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 139px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 131px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370473522952103954" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SofBNxMzaBI/AAAAAAAAANs/DNiLbAIk788/s200/CIMG3104.JPG" /></a>Although I managed to beat Qayyum on both games, 172 to 148 and 190 to 186, miracles did not happen. I am sure that he will be happy with me should I qualify.<br /><br />Before the game start in the 1st round, I told myself to concentrate, be<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soefmzf4RHI/AAAAAAAAAMM/rJeEbhsxPZs/s1600-h/CIMG2890.JPG"></a> focused and to play my own game and pace. I must not let other bowler’s pace spoil my rhythm. </div><br /><div><br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soec3SEjFsI/AAAAAAAAALk/WNW2410JerA/s1600-h/CIMG2875.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 145px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 149px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370433554220259010" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soec3SEjFsI/AAAAAAAAALk/WNW2410JerA/s200/CIMG2875.JPG" /></a>I started off very badly, only managing a score of 141 pinfall. Dad looks calm and my sister Rinie told me what was wrong with my game and to<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoefnS65_aI/AAAAAAAAAMU/fJCU9Yt41b4/s1600-h/CIMG2891.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 146px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 166px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370436578105228706" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoefnS65_aI/AAAAAAAAAMU/fJCU9Yt41b4/s200/CIMG2891.JPG" /></a> told me what corrections to make. My game improved and I had a score of 205 pinfall for my second game. Alhamdullillah, I had sort of covered for my bad 1st game.<br /><br />I played quite consistently for the rest of the games and managed a total score of 1078, for 6 games, averaging 179. I was 4th at the end of the first block of 6 games. I was only 7 pins behind the leader, Helmi of NS. Anyway, I had qualified for the Finals, my 3rd in this year’s Junior Circuit.<br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soec4PlBK5I/AAAAAAAAALs/mu_9serwvUs/s1600-h/CIMG2886.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 137px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 164px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370433570731010962" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Soec4PlBK5I/AAAAAAAAALs/mu_9serwvUs/s200/CIMG2886.JPG" /></a>In the Finals, I started off well with 172 and followed it with a 222 for my second game. However Qayyum from NS, was too strong and I ended on 2nd place, loosing 86 pins to Qayyum and beating Tun Ameerul of Perak by only 3 pins.<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoeelomH7zI/AAAAAAAAAME/qFexVWiIKrs/s1600-h/CIMG2887.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 148px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 143px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370435450052276018" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoeelomH7zI/AAAAAAAAAME/qFexVWiIKrs/s200/CIMG2887.JPG" /></a><br />My GP ranking points increased by 55 points making it a total of 140 points and I had qualified for the GP Finals at 8th position. He says that I am not following his instructions, but I was trying my very best.<br /><br />I do not know what was really wrong with Dad being so angry with me, maybe the fever that was growing on him, might have played a strong effect on his behavior.<br /><br />I did all I can to qualify for the Finals but failed. I could only managed 11th placing. I was beaten by Fariz Imadi of Johor, by 31 pins.<br /><br />Anyway, my points in GP ranking increased to 85 points and still in 9th position. I am hanging on. Adam Rahimi of Kelantan was 1 pin behind me and his younger brother, Alif Mukri, leads the pack 11 pins ahead of me. This would be my second participation in the Finals of the Junior Circuit.<br /><br />My sister, managed to get into the second round, but could only manage a 14th position in the quarter-finals, and failed to qualify for the Step-Ladder matches.<br /><br />While Fairuz was bowling in the 1st round, the family prepared a surprise Birthday celebration<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Sob1NjzOIXI/AAAAAAAAALM/TUp5woZIYIU/s1600-h/CIMG2645.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 142px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 138px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370249218983076210" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/Sob1NjzOIXI/AAAAAAAAALM/TUp5woZIYIU/s200/CIMG2645.JPG" /></a> for her. Today June 20 was her birthday. Everything was prepared and ready when she finished the 1st round. We could all see the big surprise on her face, when she found out about the birthday celebration. However, the blush on her face was a sight, not to be forgotten, when Uncle Choo announced it on the Alley’s PA system. Well, for the first time in her life, my sister had the most number of people singing “Happy Birthday” to her, and Uncle Choo was even singing it over the PA system. <br /><br /></div><div> </div><div> <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobyLgI5lpI/AAAAAAAAAK8/bO2eUl_CoU4/s1600-h/CIMG2674.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 140px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 126px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370245885105641106" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobyLgI5lpI/AAAAAAAAAK8/bO2eUl_CoU4/s200/CIMG2674.JPG" /></a> </div><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobtzeEqABI/AAAAAAAAAKk/2ZJhJn3aTrw/s1600-h/CIMG2676.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 137px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 126px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370241074187599890" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobtzeEqABI/AAAAAAAAAKk/2ZJhJn3aTrw/s200/CIMG2676.JPG" /></a>In the finals, I did not play as good as the 1st round and could only manage 1007 pinfalls. I managed to hold on and secured third position, loosing to Adam by 31 pins and Helmi of Negri Sembilan by 15 pins. This was my best placing so far, in Junior Circuit. I played very badly and could only manage 14th position. Rafiq capture the Gold Medal for Selangor.<br /><br />When the Singles competition was over, I could see that my Mum was very upset. So they took me back with them to their hotel room to rest.<br /><br />I guess after seeing the way I ate my lunch and slept in their room, they decided that I stay with them, and not with the team. I was not happy with their decision but they told me that they do not want me to make a fool out of myself in the Championship.<br /> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobdgE5w3qI/AAAAAAAAAKU/7HUAvfJ8vz0/s1600-h/CIMG2499.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 155px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 136px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370223148827467426" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobdgE5w3qI/AAAAAAAAAKU/7HUAvfJ8vz0/s200/CIMG2499.JPG" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobZ0fTtj8I/AAAAAAAAAJs/jZ5GEdmLhgk/s1600-h/CIMG2541.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 126px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 135px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5370219101466496962" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SobZ0fTtj8I/AAAAAAAAAJs/jZ5GEdmLhgk/s200/CIMG2541.JPG" /></a>I guess that they were right. This tournament is held yearly, amongst all school children in the district. This tournament serves as Roll-off, for the selection of bowlers, to represent Petaling Perdana District at the 2009 Selangor School Sport Council Bowling Championship.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU3_SdLoaI/AAAAAAAAAGU/RO7hU0jFb7A/s1600-h/CIMG1933.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 107px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 141px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369759691134706082" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU3_SdLoaI/AAAAAAAAAGU/RO7hU0jFb7A/s200/CIMG1933.JPG" /></a>We had to bowl a series of two blocks, 6-games per block on two consecutive days. The first block is a cut-away block, where only the top 16 will proceed to the second round. On the first block on April 13, 2009, I had played quiet well, and I led the field of 21 bowlers, scoring a total 6-game 978 pinfall with an average of 163. Thus I qualified to move to the second round, the next day.<br /><br />I went back home feeling good, and Dad……well he did not say very much while driving home. I think he is happy with my game today, coz I saw him smiled to himself once in a while in the car.<br /><br />At night, before going to bed, I decided to check on my bowling balls, do some ball cleaning also. While checking, I found out that one of my finger insert was a bit tight, so I decided to change it myself as Dad was upstairs, having his prayers.<br /><br />After I had changed the finger insert, I tried to test, if it fits properly, not realizing that the superglue had not yet settled. To my surprise, the finger insert came out of the ball, and hit me on my right eye. Fortunately, I managed to close my eye before being hit. <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU8K4hil2I/AAAAAAAAAG8/9EWcjc3uWac/s1600-h/April+16,+2009.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 151px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 180px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369764288378607458" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU8K4hil2I/AAAAAAAAAG8/9EWcjc3uWac/s200/April+16,+2009.JPG" /></a><br /><br />I immediately and quietly ran to the sink and try to wash my eye with running water. </div><div>Nobody in the house knows anything about this as they were all upstairs. Then suddenly the door to my room opened and I saw Dad. I had to tell him what did happened. He immediately pulled me to the sink again and started washing my eye all over again. I saw his worried look, but that did not stop him from scolding me. Those who know Dad will know. While rinsing my eyes under the tap, he was lecturing me and mumbling all the time, at times I did not really know what he was saying.<br /><br />When Mum gets to know about what had happened, it was her turn, scolding me but at the same time, I could see the worried in her eyes. She started to clean my eyes again even after Dad had done so. When she was satisfied, she instructed me to go to bed.<br /> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU8J6p76uI/AAAAAAAAAGs/EhnmSu1APIk/s1600-h/CIMG1928.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 178px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 165px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369764271770823394" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU8J6p76uI/AAAAAAAAAGs/EhnmSu1APIk/s200/CIMG1928.JPG" /></a><br />On the day of the Final round, I woke up to find it a little difficult to open up my eyes, since there was still some residue of superglue that was not completely cleaned. Mum & Dad took turns in trying to clean it again. My eye was also a little swollen, maybe due to the friction it received and was reddish all over. They were in two minds, either to take me to the Clinic or take me to the alley. I pleaded with them to take me to the alley first, and when the game is over they can take me to the clinic.<br /> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU8KbWxq5I/AAAAAAAAAG0/ggdugpRF0A0/s1600-h/CIMG1941.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 182px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 195px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369764280548830098" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU8KbWxq5I/AAAAAAAAAG0/ggdugpRF0A0/s200/CIMG1941.JPG" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU3__m0AfI/AAAAAAAAAGc/5BhEYFCgO8M/s1600-h/CIMG1936.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 170px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 195px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369759703254696434" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoU3__m0AfI/AAAAAAAAAGc/5BhEYFCgO8M/s200/CIMG1936.JPG" /></a>I was very quiet at the alley, got shameful feelings also. My sisters and Dad kept on teasing me. I did not talk much with the other bowlers. However, I had the last laugh on them, coz I played very well (to my standard laaah) on the second block of 6 games. I had a total of 1208 pinfalls. This is the first time that I had ever bowled an average of above 200 for 6 games. My total pinfall for both blocks was 2186, giving me an average of 182 for 12 games. I came in at first position and led by 325 pins from the second placed bowler. I was selected to represent Petaling Perdana District to the Selangor School Sports Council Bowling Championship. </div>hazarizqhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06007002897688600616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823706569527440739.post-51526038646573205872009-08-13T22:03:00.000-07:002009-08-14T00:36:36.402-07:00Pin Junction JuniorTeam & Junior League<div><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div>Sometimes in October 2008, I join as a bowler with Pin Junction Junior Team.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoURaM6ce0I/AAAAAAAAAFk/nTvBTAu3RTI/s1600-h/April+5,+2009+(14).JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 164px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 145px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369717272549817154" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoURaM6ce0I/AAAAAAAAAFk/nTvBTAu3RTI/s200/April+5,+2009+(14).JPG" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoUS9BypSaI/AAAAAAAAAF8/LAOxpNHWKNo/s1600-h/April+5,+2009+(2).JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 178px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 151px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369718970371361186" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoUS9BypSaI/AAAAAAAAAF8/LAOxpNHWKNo/s200/April+5,+2009+(2).JPG" /></a>We train in at Pin Junction every Sunday afternoon unless the lanes are overbooked. I had a first round score of 1004 pinfall, and qualified for the Finals on 9th position, with an average of 167. Alhamdullillah! I only manage to get 1035 pinfall. Although it is only 31 pins better that the first round, I manage to climb up to sixth position overall, with an average of 170.<br /><br />My total point for the GP ranking is now 35 and I am still not a qualifier. I have never bowled here so I really do not know how the lane condition is.<br /><br />I did not fare well in this leg of the circuit since I cannot adapt to the lane condition at all. I could only manage a total 6-game score of 787 pinfall, with an average of 131. I did not make it to the final round.<br /><br />My dad was furious with me, for not making the final round. However, I told myself that I will train more and try to improve my game, hopefully I can get into the Grand Prix.hazarizqhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06007002897688600616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823706569527440739.post-65402191663563514002009-08-13T16:11:00.000-07:002009-08-13T16:23:46.956-07:00Selangor Evaluation Roll-off<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoSe-oDDf-I/AAAAAAAAAE8/WWgpOUN4Fyc/s1600-h/P18-03-09_20.53.JPG"></a><br /><br /><div>It is 2009 and I am now 11-years old. This year, my dad tells me that I am ready to follow the Sportexcel-MSN National Junior Bowling.<br /><br />The bowling year for me started off with the Selangor Evaluation roll-off in early January 2009. The purpose is to <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoSfSpixvhI/AAAAAAAAAFE/SY2HqcYOOg0/s1600-h/P18-03-09_20.53.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 117px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 170px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369591798470655506" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoSfSpixvhI/AAAAAAAAAFE/SY2HqcYOOg0/s200/P18-03-09_20.53.JPG" /></a>select all the AA & AAA trainees for the development program. The selectors, from MSN-MTBC, will select bowlers with potential for admission to the program.<br /><br />When the results were published in January 19, 2009, I am so glad that I had been selected to join the program, under the AA category.<br /><br />However, sad to say, that the program in Selangor never got started, until late April 2009. By that time my dad had already decided not to allow me to join the program, due to the training venue and some other personal issue. Since he is around, he had decide to train me by himself.</div>hazarizqhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06007002897688600616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823706569527440739.post-63944308443039001122009-08-12T04:08:00.000-07:002009-08-12T05:05:39.813-07:00Bowlers Wedding of the YearDecember 27 & 28, 2008 are the two dates that belongs to Kak Shalin and Abang Azidi.<br /><br />The Wedding Ceremony on 27th December 2008 and The Wedding Reception on 28th December 2008<br /><br />I am happy to be part of the Celebration, when I was entrusted to be one of the Keris Bearer for the Wedding Reception.<br /><br />Hopefully, my pictorial chronology would paint a picture of the Wedding. I was then just 7-years old.<br /><br />Looking at all the participant for the tournament, I never gave me a chance to be selected as one of the 40 participants, who will then be absorbed into development programs organized by MSN. To my surprise, I was one of the chosen 40 participants. Reason being, I am in bowling alleys most of the time, while waiting for my two elder sisters to finish their training. Naturally, the bowling Bug got into me in no time.<br /><br /><div><div><div><div>The bug became so huge during the 2003 World Bowling Championship at Pyramid. My dad was one of the Lane Marshalls for the Championship. One of the days that he was not officiating, he smuggled me and my sister, Fairuz, into the alley. My sister Harini was one of the Pacer at the Championship.<br /><br /> <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoIfFFHjhFI/AAAAAAAAABU/Yzrf662W6lA/s1600-h/Me+%26+Ahmad+of+Eygpt.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 179px; HEIGHT: 148px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5368887877912724562" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoIfFFHjhFI/AAAAAAAAABU/Yzrf662W6lA/s320/Me+%26+Ahmad+of+Eygpt.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoIfEgqv2AI/AAAAAAAAABM/DpfcCmB_LWw/s1600-h/Me+%26+Diandra.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 182px; HEIGHT: 146px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5368887868128221186" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoIfEgqv2AI/AAAAAAAAABM/DpfcCmB_LWw/s320/Me+%26+Diandra.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKJlRBi51I/AAAAAAAAACc/38BPuuo7VBM/s1600-h/Me+%26+Tim+Mack.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 179px; HEIGHT: 143px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369004979097102162" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKJlRBi51I/AAAAAAAAACc/38BPuuo7VBM/s320/Me+%26+Tim+Mack.jpg" /></a><br /><span style="font-size:78%;"> <strong><em> Me & Ahmad of Eygpt Me & Diandra Me & Tim Mack</em></strong></span><strong><em><br /></em></strong><br />Waaaaaaaaah….meeting all these champions really got me all fired up to be a bowler, one day.<br /><br /><br />At first, I started off imitating my sisters’ swing, which gradually grew into swinging the house-ball, and then into throwing the house-ball towards my dad. That was when I was about 6-years old. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div> <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKGvNYmGhI/AAAAAAAAACE/bDzitBQmOqI/s1600-h/Bowling+Swing+1.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 184px; HEIGHT: 171px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369001851383847442" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKGvNYmGhI/AAAAAAAAACE/bDzitBQmOqI/s320/Bowling+Swing+1.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKGvVLIpFI/AAAAAAAAACM/nHwLkC6spx8/s1600-h/Bowling+Swing+2.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 168px; HEIGHT: 170px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369001853474874450" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKGvVLIpFI/AAAAAAAAACM/nHwLkC6spx8/s320/Bowling+Swing+2.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKGv2jWxLI/AAAAAAAAACU/fVIVF3uF1Rw/s1600-h/Bowling+Swing+3.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 163px; HEIGHT: 170px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369001862434833586" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKGv2jWxLI/AAAAAAAAACU/fVIVF3uF1Rw/s320/Bowling+Swing+3.jpg" /></a></div><div> <span style="font-size:85%;"><strong><em>So how Is my Swing as a six-year-old? Got Style or not?</em></strong></span></div><div><br />Sometimes much later, I was given a second-hand 6 pound plastic ball, by one of dad’s friend, and I started to mess around at the alley- hehehhehe- now playing bumper bowling.<br /><br />At that time both my elder sisters were training under the Sunway Pyramid Youth Program. Not wanting to be left out, I ask my dad if I could train, together with my sisters. My dad laughed at me….and then thinking that I had no guts, my dad told me to ask Uncle Halloway’s permission, since the training program was one of Uncle Halloway’s programs.<br /><br />One day, during one of my sisters training session, I saw Uncle Halloway at the alley. I went straight right up to him, and I asked him if I could join the training program. Uncle Halloway smiled at me and then handed me a 13-pound house-ball, and said….”if you can throw this ball and hit the pins, you can join the program.” I told Uncle Halloway with an innocent boyish manner…..” I have my own bowling ball and I can hit the pins!” Uncle Halloway laughs back at my remarks and then told me to ask Uncle Micky. That’s how I got my first formal training, with Sunway Megalane Junior Program.<br /></div></div></div></div>hazarizqhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06007002897688600616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823706569527440739.post-22645443259472144802009-08-10T13:45:00.000-07:002009-08-12T02:38:20.356-07:00Introduction<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKNGmi7paI/AAAAAAAAACs/DSCmGc3nVeI/s1600-h/b4.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 157px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 216px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369008850344846754" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZRAQsJjzHvQ/SoKNGmi7paI/AAAAAAAAACs/DSCmGc3nVeI/s320/b4.JPG" /></a><br /><div>Hi my name is Muhammad Nur Hazarizq.
